The National Theatre is one the newly announced Royal Patronages of the Duchess of Sussex, a role that was passed on to her by Her Majesty, the Queen, who had previously held the role for several decades.

Her work as an actress prior to getting married to Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, makes her a perfect fit as Royal Patron for the National Theatre.

Paying an official visit to the NATIONAL THEATRE today, the mommy-to-be who is in the early stages of the third trimester of her pregnancy was glowing as she arrived, waving to well-wishers and royal fans who had gathered to greet her.

Meghan also met with staff, volunteers, and performers of the National Theatre, as she explored the theatre, stage, and backstage areas and got a behind-the-scenes look at the organization’s work.

To conclude her visit, the Duchess was treated to a short performance, inspired by War Horse, by children working with the National Theatre’s primary school programme.

Today, the Duchess of Sussex looked positively radiant in a peachy-pink ensemble.

Dressed in a custom Brandon Maxwell v-neck dress and a Neutral Shawl Collar Blazer from the Brandon Maxwell Spring/Summer ’19 Collection, Meghan carried her Metropolitan Insignia Small Clutch by Carolina Herrera (which she had at last year’s Trooping the Colour), the nude Matilde suede pumps by Aquazurra (which she wore at the official announcement of her engagement to Prince Harry), and the Tresses Gold Bar earrings by Ecksand
