As part of Children’s Mental Health Week, HRH Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge visited two schools today, beginning with Lavender Primary School.

The engagement is part of her work as Royal Patron for Place2Be – a children’s mental health charity that provides in-school support & training for emotional wellbeing.

During her visit, the Duchess of Cambridge met with the young students, parents, staff and Herbie, the school dog.

She joined Year 2 students and their teacher, Ms Monk in a Show-and-Tell of objects which represent something that makes them feel good.

The Duchess shared a photograph of her family with the class, as part of the Show-and-Tell.

The Duchess of Cambridge brought with her a photograph of her family to share with the Year 2 class.
In Year 6, the Duchess joined the pupils and their teacher for a food diary activity, focusing on the link between food choices, mood and emotions.

Her second visit of the day was to Alperton Community School, where a roundtable discussion with the teachers was held to discuss pupil school readiness and teacher wellbeing.

Catherine debuted two new pieces as part of her outfit of the day.
The first is the Marissa boots by LK Bennett – a designer whose pieces she has worn several times.
The second is a bright green customised wool bouclé dress by Eponine.
She completed her look with her trusty Bayswater clutch by Mulberry and her Kiki McDonough Lauren earrings.
