2021 is a year of Royal babies, it seems.
And this is much needed delightful news during these dreary pandemic times.
Following the birth of Princess Eugenie’s baby last week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and his wife announced that they are expecting their second child.
Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, their firstborn, is going to be a big brother!
Their announcement comes 37 years to the day after it was announced that Prince Charles and Princess Diana were expecting their second child, Prince Harry himself.
The birth announcement photograph was taken by British photographer, Misan Harriman.
The Queen and the rest of the royal family were said to be “delighted” at the news.
Buckingham Palace spokesman said: “Her Majesty, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales and entire family are delighted and wish them well.”
It was also announced that Prince Harry and Meghan will be giving their first interview since stepping back from royal duties when they talk to Oprah Winfrey next month.
The couple will discuss their marriage, philanthropic efforts and their move away from the British royal family.
Congratulations to the Sussexes on their impending new addition to the family.
