Today, we mark the first anniversary of the demise of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who died on this day last year – 8th September 2022 – at Balmoral Castle, Scotland, aged 96 years old.
She was the longest-reigning Monarch in British royal history, as well as the world’s oldest head of state. During her 70-year reign, she dedicated her life to serving her country and Commonwealth.

Following the demise of his mother, His Majesty King Charles III acceded to the Throne of the United Kingdom and all the Commonwealth Realms.

Queen Elizabeth II, a true icon of dedication and service, carried out more than 21,000 engagements over her 70-year reign!
Her leadership, service, and dedication to duty were an example to us all, and our heartfelt thoughts and deepest sympathies rest with Their Majesties The King and Queen, and all the Royal Family on this sorrowful day.
Queen Elizabeth II: “I declare before you all that my whole life whether it be long or short shall be devoted to your service.” And the Queen spent her life doing just that. She was class and dignity personified.
She served us faithfully and took her duty seriously, right to the very end.
Rest In Peace to our nation’s beloved grandmother and mother, and in the words of Paddington Bear: “Thank you Ma’am, for everything.”
